“Blue Man Group in Macao” Press Conference
“Experience Awesome” with Blue Man Group at The Venetian Macao’s Venetian Theatre from Aug. 11 to 28, 2016
(Macao, Aug 8, 2016) The media was treated to an amazing preview performance from the world-famous, award-winning Blue Man Group today, ahead of their Aug. 11 to Aug. 28 shows at The Venetian® Macao’s Venetian Theatre.
The show is supported by Lan Kwai Fong, one of the destination entertainment highlights of Hong Kong where culturally, East meets West. During the press conference hosted at the LOFT 22 multipurpose space in California Tower, Allan Zeman, known as the ‘Father of Lan Kwai Fong,’ introduced Blue Man Group and hoped to interview the Blue Men but as they do not speak, Blue Man Captain, Meridian was able to answer questions on their behalf.
Interactions between the Blue Men and Fire Lee as well as Kelvin Boy (KB) brought laughter and curiosity. Blue Man Captain Meridian, along with Band – Strings & Resident Musical Director Tony gave the group inside information on the inner workings of Blue Man Group and the meaning behind their performances. The audience went wild for the unique antics of the Blue Men, who gave them a small taste of what is to come when the show arrives in Macau.
The upcoming shows are part of a new worldwide tour by the acclaimed group, best known for its trio of bald, blue artists, and promise an outrageous and unforgettable evening of entertainment. Blue Man Group is totally unique comedy, theatre, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one. It combines science, inspiring music by a live band, and vibrant visual effects, with humorous interaction with audiences. For 25 years, the Blue Man Group has traveled to more than 20 countries and been seen by over 35 million people. This will be the first time for Blue Man Group to perform in China.
