For three days only, August 7-9, The Venetian Macao's Cotai Expo Halls D & E are being transformed into a fun-filled summer shopping and leisure hotspot featuring food, entertainment, lucky draws, a karaoke competition and more, all under one roof – making it a family-friendly shopping extravaganza like no other.
The Sands Shopping Carnival lets you travel the world without leaving Macao, featuring incredible deals from selected retailers at more than 500 booths. Shoppers can find deals up to 80% off and special daily MOP 1 products, and can shop with consumer e-vouchers!
Kids will enjoy inflatable slides, animal rides, balance bikes, an electronic car track, game booths, littler master chef workshop, and more.

We are committed to making the Sands Shopping Carnival a weekend hotspot suitable for families this summer. We are excited to feature our Luso International (LIB) Presents: Little Master Chef Workshop, led daily by Sands China's food and beverage team, to let children play with their creativity and talent and become little master chefs!
Daily registration is on site, with free admission!
The F.I.T. Programme
Sands China strongly believes that the company is closely connected with the development of Macao, and has been devoting resources to the local community for more than a decade, and we are committed to promoting the development of local enterprises.
We first launched Sands China’s Local Small, Medium and Micro Suppliers Support Programme in 2015, aiming to facilitate opportunities for local suppliers to cooperate with Sands China, in support of three types of local businesses jointly identified with the Macao Chamber of Commerce: small and micro enterprises, “made in Macao” companies, and Macao young entrepreneurs.
As part of that initiative, we further launched the F.I.T. programme for local Macao SME suppliers in April 2017. F.I.T. aims to continue driving procurement between Sands China and local SME suppliers, targeted at both existing and new local Sands China suppliers. With this programme, the company seeks to increase its spend on all three aforementioned types of local suppliers.
F.I.T. is comprised of three pillars: Financial Support, Invitational Matching, and Training and Development.
• Financial Support
A Sands China Young Entrepreneur Advance Payment Programme has been created to help local young entrepreneurs who have limited financial capacity to run their business. It targets Macao young entrepreneurs with a staff size of 15 or below, providing them with a 30 per cent advance payment on purchase orders.
In April 2019, Sands China successfully cooperated with six local banks to launch a special financial support programme mainly for Sands China's SME suppliers. The participating banks are: Bank of China Macau Branch, ICBC Macau Branch, Bank of Communications Macau Branch, China Construction Bank Macau Branch, OCBC Wing Hang, and BNU.
• Invitational Matching
Sands China hosts targeted trade shows that invite local SMEs to go beyond simply meeting potential Sands China buyers. These invitational matching sessions take the process a step further by providing a platform for local SMEs to present and demonstrate their products and services to potential users and buyers at Sands China properties, with the company’s full support. The goal is to enhance communication between vendors and users, and to improve the procurement success rate.
• Training and Development
The Sands China Procurement Academy, inaugurated in June 2017, aims to develop local SME suppliers by sharing business knowledge and skills, helping them gain experience and capacity for working with large-scale international customers like Sands China. The academy offers tailor-made practical training modules to local SMEs, presenting them with a certificate upon graduating from the academy. Graduating suppliers are given preferential procurement under otherwise equal circumstances. The training programme is the first of its kind in the industry, with nearly 180 local SME suppliers having graduated to date.
The Sands Procurement Academy aims to help develop local suppliers through the sharing of business knowledge and skills. Suppliers are then able to gain experience and capacity for working with large-scale international customers like Sands China.
Four types of local SME suppliers are targeted by the academy: small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), micro-enterprises, Macao young entrepreneurs, and “Made-in-Macao” enterprises. The programme focuses on practical knowledge for SMEs, and is the first of its kind in the industry. Graduating suppliers receive a certificate and are given preferential procurement opportunities under otherwise equal circumstances. Nearly 180 local SME suppliers have graduated from the academy to date.
The 7th and 8th intake of the academy will commence at the end of September 2020. Lecturers with various areas of expertise facilitate the modules, which cover 7 topics: quality assurance, Macau labor law fundamentals, effective warehouse operations, supplier code of conduct, procurement contract basics, procurement process and system overview, and logistics management.
