'Londoner Light and Sound Spectacular'

Dynamic show mesmerises visitors with a feast for the senses

(Macao, Dec. 13, 2022) – The Londoner^® Macao has debuted the Londoner Light and Sound Spectacular, captivating visitors with breathtaking audio and visual effects. As the newest must-see attraction in Macao, it is a permanent programme at the British-themed integrated resort and part of the city-wide 'Light Up Macao 2022' campaign organised by Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO).

As dusk falls, The Londoner Macao's 16,000-square-metre (400-metre-long and 40-metre-high) façade comes to life every hour, radiating entrancing hues that canvas the entire building. Accompanied by some of the most recognisable British-themed music including the soundtrack of James Bond movie 'Diamonds Are Forever', The Beatles' classic 'Twist and Shout', and Robbie Williams' 'Let Me Entertain You', more than 10,000 lights create dynamic effects depicting London's iconic black cabs, double-decker buses and royal carriage. The Londoner Light and Sound Spectacular lights up Cotai Strip nightly from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., offering yet another magnificent photo-taking spot for visitors. The prime viewing location is in front of The Original 1966 London Bus at the main entrance of Shoppes at Londoner, close to Nelson's Column.

The Londoner Light and Sound Spectacular was created in collaboration with internationally acclaimed Artists in Motion, an Australian creative projects company that has curated many renowned live spectacles including parts of the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics opening ceremony, the re-design of Hong Kong's light and sound show 'A Symphony of Lights', and an immersive 360-degree projection project in Expo 2020 Dubai. The creative team managed to create a show featuring eye-catching colours and patterns, music scores rich in energy and tempo, and a lively façade that guests can enjoy from all angles.

The debut of the Londoner Light and Sound Spectacular represents Sands China Ltd.'s active engagement as an official event partner of the 'Light Up Macao 2022' campaign, and its continuing support for the "tourism +" cross-sector integration strategy of MGTO. 'Light Up Macao 2022 brings together Macao's vibrant cultural tourism, public art and innovative technology sectors to enrich the holistic travel experience.

The Londoner Light and Sound Spectacular will remain as a permanent attraction after the conclusion of 'Light Up Macao 2022', with more themes and features to come.
