The World Travel Awards, established in 1993, "acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries". The winners of each category are those that have received the most voting points with online voting open to professionals in the travel and tourism industries, as well as business and leisure travellers.
