The Venetian Macao Hosts Tencent Video All Star Night 2023
The first project under Sands China's partnership with Tencent Video and Maoyan successfully held, helping develop Macao into a City of Performing Arts
(Macao, Dec. 22, 2023) – The Venetian® Macao hosted the Tencent Video All Star Night 2023 at Cotai Arena on Dec. 17, 2023. This marked the first successful collaboration under the partnership of Sands China Ltd., Tencent Video and Maoyan Entertainment ('Maoyan'), and was a great start for future cooperation between the three parties. Based on the previous partnership agreement, the three parties will foster comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in areas including leisure and entertainment performances, online and off-line events, co-marketing campaigns, ticketing products & services and membership collaborations etc.
An all-platform, star-studded super event held by Tencent Video, Tencent Video All Star Night 2023 revisited the year's highlight moments through the awarding of honours, stage performances and red carpet event. More than 100 celebrity artists and industry leaders gathered at The Venetian Macao's Cotai Arena to witness the release of 40 coveted honorary titles. The entertainment of the night included classic film and TV series OST medley performances and innovative renditions of hit songs, bringing the audience unparalleled audio-visual enjoyment.
In addition, the Tencent Video Golden Penguin Awards 2023 was held at The Venetian Macao's Ballroom on Dec. 16, attended by many industry leaders and content creators. The Tencent Video OpenDay 9 Year-End Special Edition - Tencent Video OpenDay All Star Bazaar 2023 invited guests to a fun-filled journey outdoors at Le Jardin through mini-live stage performances, IP bazaar check in, Macao cultural and creative interactive experiences, Macao-themed live performances, and The Londoner Macao's delectable desserts.
The Tencent Video All Star Night and a series of engaging events have been well received by the industry and audiences alike. Over 3,000 hot topics were generated on the internet nationwide, including 1,853 hot topics on Weibo. The collaborative project aimed to attract more people to Macao through cultural and entertainment events and rich cultural tourism experiences, and injected new impetus into the advancement of Macao's arts and culture sectors.
