(Macao, Jan. 11, 2017) – Celebrate The Year of The Rooster with the widest range of festive offerings at The Venetian® Macao, The Parisian Macao, Sands® Cotai Central and Sands® Macao’s award-winning restaurants this upcoming Chinese New Year. Overflowing with exquisite set menus, buffets and à la carte treats, diners can indulge in prosperous delicacies as they welcome in a year of good fortune and happiness.

Chinese New Year Menus at The Venetian Macao

North: Spacious and authentic North restaurant specialises in northern Chinese and Sichuan cuisine. The Chinese New Year Promotion Menu features a cold dish combination offering seven delicious items, including drunken goose liver with fresh soya beans, marinated poached spinach with crab meat and poached goose with mixed vegetables, for MOP 688* per person. Hot dishes include braised sea cucumber with fried yam (MOP 888*), Sichuan style stir-fried mud crab with chilli (MOP 888*), and hand-pulled noodles with sea cucumber and chicken, and pork, shrimp and sea cucumber wontons in broth (both MOP 188*). The promotional menu is available from Jan. 23 to Feb 11.

Canton: The elegantly decorated restaurant offers exquisite Cantonese cuisine. Private rooms are available for family and friends who want to enjoy an intimate Chinese New Year meal together.

Canton is offering a Chinese New Year set menu and specialties menu from Jan. 25 to Feb. 11. The six-course set menu features exquisite dishes such as braised Australian abalone in oyster sauce and double boiled bird's nest with fresh milk priced at MOP 988* per person. Meanwhile the specialties menu includes tempting selections such as stir-fried prawns and chicken with honey beans, braised pork knuckle with pickled mustard greens and Canton’s famous Poon Choi, overflowing with mouth-watering ingredients: Australian abalone, sea cucumber, fish maw, goose web, dried scallop, dried oyster, tiger prawns, squid and vegetables.

Poon Choi takeaway at Canton: For those who want to experience Canton’s exceptional Poon Choi at home this Chinese New Year, it is available for takeaway priced MOP 1,480* (for four people approximately). Pre-orders can be placed from Jan. 12, 2017, with pick-up times from Jan. 20 to Feb. 11.

Bambu: A sumptuous buffet is available at Bambu to help usher in Chinese New Year. The popular restaurant has specially prepared a series of festive dishes, including favourites such as “Buddha jumps over the wall” and will be offering two seatings during the Chinese New Year holiday period.

Chinese New Year Menus at The Parisian Macao

Lotus Palace: For Chinese New Year 2017, Lotus Palace is offering three delicious set menus priced at MOP 2,888* for four people, MOP 8,888* for eight people and MOP 13,888* for 10 people respectively. Expect to see luxury and auspicious items featured, such as braised bird’s nest soup with assorted seafood, and Poon Choi, including Australian abalone, sea cucumber, fish maw, goose webs, dried scallops, tiger prawns, dried oysters and vegetables. Lotus Palace also offers a Chinese New Year Special Menu, available Jan. 27-Feb. 11, which includes a prosperity “Lo Hei” salmon sashimi platter (MOP 388*), prosperity “Lo Hei” South African abalone sashimi platter MOP 1,288* (per piece), prosperity “Lo Hei” Australian lobster sashimi platter (market price), Poon Choi including braised Australian abalone, sea cucumber, fish maw, goose webs, dried scallop, tiger prawns, dried oysters and vegetables (for four people, MOP 1,580*).

Le Buffet: This year, celebrate the special occasion with lunch or dinner at one of the most varied international buffets you will find in Macao. With lunch at MOP 298* and dinner at MOP 468*, the promotional period is from Jan. 28 to Feb. 5, 2017. Live stations include salads, starters, antipasti, sushi and sashimi, seafood, pasta, a carving station featuring Australian prime rib roasted on the bone, and international dishes such as French style braised beef bourguignon along with Chinese and Indian delicacies. A delicious selection of desserts on offer  includes “Le Eiffel Tower Treats”: almond raspberry financiers, classic Parisian opera cake and green tea cheesecake. Dinner adds foie gras poele cooked to order with apple sauce and brioche and a butter poached Boston lobster station including a special chocolate selection  and chocolate fountain.

Chinese New Year Menus at The Londoner Macao

Dynasty 8: From Jan. 27-Feb. 5, 2017, Dynasty 8 is offering a wonderful nine-course Chinese New Year set menu that represents good luck, prosperity and health. Available for lunch and dinner, it features exquisite traditional selections including double-boiled superior soup with dendrobe flowers, seaweed pearl and mushrooms; braised dried oysters with sea moss, persimmon mushrooms, lettuce and abalone; and steamed red spotted grouper with soya sauce.

Located on the ground floor of Sands® Cotai Central, the award-winning Dynasty 8 restaurant is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 6-11 p.m. (Saturdays and Sundays open at
10 a.m.). During the Chinese New Year period, between Jan. 28-Feb. 3, operating hours will be extended to 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and 6-11 p.m. At MOP 888* per set menu, the minimum order is for six persons.

Poon Choi takeaway at Dynasty 8: In addition, guests can order a traditional Poon Choi festive hamper from Dynasty 8 to savour at home this year. The hamper, for four people, is priced at MOP 1,888* for takeaway between Jan. 20-Feb. 5, 2017. It includes abalone, dried oysters, goose feet and fish maw rolls. Pre-orders are available from Jan. 9.

Grand Orbit: The popular buffet restaurant located on the ground floor of The Londoner Macao is featuring a sumptuous Chinese New Year buffet between Jan. 27-Feb. 3, 2017, with Mediterranean, Western, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Southeast Asian and Indian specialities, as well as fresh seafood on ice. The lunch buffet is served noon to 3 p.m. daily while the dinner buffet will have two sittings, from 5:30-8 p.m. and 8-10 p.m. Lunch buffet price is MOP 298* for adults and MOP 149* for children and the dinner buffet price is MOP 468*  for adults and MOP 234*  for children.

The Lounge: Located in the Conrad Macao lobby, The Lounge offers a splendid East-meets-West afternoon tea served between Jan. 27-Feb. 5, 2017, available 3-6 p.m. daily to celebrate Chinese New Year, and includes a selection of both savoury and sweet traditional treats such as abalone tartelette, tomato bread and crab salad with ginger, crispy prawn spring roll, mushroom bun, raspberry cake, green tea egg tart, cupcakes, honey and mandarin scone, along with a choice of tea or coffee or two special CNY cocktails or mocktails. The experience is priced at MOP 268# and the deluxe tea set at MOP 298#, which also includes a Conrad Chinese New Year Bear or Duck.

Chinese New Year Menus at Sands Macao

Golden Court: Elegant Golden Court Cantonese restaurant has put together some delicious dishes for the special festive occasion, including braised dried oysters and sea moss with pork tongue (MOP 218*), giant grouper served two ways (MOP 238*), and braised abalone and seafood in clay pot (MOP 318*). Dim sum items include crispy fried pork and sea cucumber dumplings (MOP 38*), steamed pork siu mai with sea conch (MOP 48*) and braised pork knuckle with sea moss (MOP 38*). 888 Buffet: This Chinese New Year, treat family and friends with festive lunch and dinner buffets at 888 Buffet. Seafood highlights include mussels, oysters, prawns, crab legs, sea whelk, crawfish lobster, baked oysters and crab with cheese and roast whole seabass with olives and tomatoes, while meat options offer Portuguese style roast St. Helen rib of beef with red wine veal jus and roast rack of lamb. The Chinese winter favourite, hot pot, is also available.
