Annual tradition dates back to 2004 property opening
 

(Macao, May 18, 2017) – Sands Macao continued one of its annual traditions Thursday, providing complimentary boxed lunches for Macao taxi drivers in celebration of its 13th anniversary.

Sands Macao offered around 200 meal packs to taxi drivers arriving at the hotel Thursday, with the meals featuring double-boiled pork ribs and dried sea whelk soup with Chinese herbs, poached chicken á la princess with ginger dip, braised sea conchs and fish maw with broccoli, and wok-fried prawns with straw mushrooms.    

Since the opening of Sands Macao in 2004, the hotel and entertainment complex has shown its appreciation to Macao’s fleet of cab drivers as part of its anniversary celebrations each year.
