The Parisian Macao's Brasserie Presents Special Menu to Celebrate French GourMay 2022

A true French wine and dine experience to enjoy 'Rhômantic Bistronomy'

(Macao, Apr. 25, 2022) – The Parisian Macao's Brasserie will celebrate the 13th edition of French GourMay Food & Wine Festival with a four-course menu from Apr 28 to May 31, 2022. In this authentic French bistro, bon vivants in town can savour exquisite cuisine and embark on a 'Rhômantic Bistronomy' journey, with wine pairings from Côtes du Rhône.

French GourMay is an annual festival in Hong Kong and Macao dedicated to gastronomy à la française. Celebrating the theme of 'Rhômantic Bistronomy' this year, the festival will unbox the art on the plate and make gastronomic philosophies accessible to everyone. As a combination of bistro dishes cooked with seasonal produce and haute cuisine methods, the philosophy of bistronomy engages the people we love in a friendly environment.

Brasserie is the place to be for an authentic French experience, from food to ambience. The special four-course menu is created by French Executive Chef Daniel Brolese, highlighting the unique culinary treasure of France. The meal starts with an amuse-bouche of prime beef tartare with traditional condiment, a French bistro classic that will awaken the taste buds within the first mouthful. For appetisers, guests can choose duck foie gras and pork terrine 'en croute' with signature pickles, the history of which dates back to the Middle Ages; or Normandy-style smoked herring and Nice-style seared tuna on warm potato salad, which creates a culinary experience through the north and south of France.

Afterwards, guests can enjoy the Bouillabaisse-style fish soup with seafood crouton and Rouille sauce, made with red mullet, sea bass and turbot and a variety of spices stewed in the finest olive oil. The main courses of braised veal breast in creamy velouté sauce with Paris mushrooms and pilaf rice creates a symphony of tastes, while pan-roasted North Atlantic halibut filet in capers, croutons and lemon butter Meuniere and vegetable farandole accentuates the unique flavours of south-eastern France. Finally, vanilla mousse and red berries compote with vanilla ice cream or selected cheeses from our Parisian affineur finishes the meal off perfectly.

An authentically sumptuous meal, the menu is only available for dinner (except May 8), priced at MOP 548* per person. Guests can also add MOP 288* to pair dishes with a selection of three outstanding French wines. Two of them are sourced from Côtes du Rhône – one of the oldest winegrowing regions in France with over 2,000 years of experience and the Wine of Honour for the festival this year. Heritage, terroir, location, expertise and quality are what define the Côtes du Rhône wines, which are distinctively different, and deliciously rich on the palate.

Guests can also opt for the Spring Weekend Afternoon Tea on Saturdays and Sundays from April 30 to May 31. Served from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and priced at MOP 368* for two persons, the tea set includes a selection of sweet and savoury floral-inspired treats, bringing the tenderness of spring to your dining table.

In addition, from now until May 31, Macao ID cardholders can enjoy an exclusive 25% discount on dining at The Parisian Macao^ as part of the 'Fabulous Dining Offers' promotion.
