Sands Resorts Macao Invites Zhuhai Residents
to 'Experience Macao, Unlimited'
Caravan Roadshow Series across Greater Bay Area
kicks off with attractive offers from 'Little Europe'
(Macao, Aug. 31, 2022) – Sands® Resorts Macao is actively participating in the 'Experience Macao, Unlimited' Caravan Roadshow Series across the Greater Bay Area hosted by the Macao SAR government to attract more tourists to Macao and propel economic recovery. On Aug. 28 and 29, the first stop was unveiled at Aoyuan Plaza, with a caravan in the spotlight to attract Zhuhai residents for an impressive encounter with Macao's rich elements of "tourism +".
Sands Resorts Macao is highlighting its diverse gourmet, accommodation, shopping and entertainment options and presenting exclusive offers only available during the roadshows. This year also marks the 15th anniversary of The Venetian Macao. As the first integrated resort to grace Cotai Strip, the stunning property has witnessed Macao's spectacular economic transformation. Over the years, The Venetian Macao has launched and optimised a variety of tourism products and played a notable role in the development of the city's hotel, MICE, food and beverage, retail, culture, sports, and entertainment industries, winning numerous accolades and recognition for its world-class quality and excellence. To commemorate this milestone, Sands Resorts Macao is rolling out a series of privileges with the theme of 'Celebrate Glamour and Opulence this Autumn, Join Us for Festivities Offers of The Venetian Macao Anniversary', including hotel packages, dining, shopping and entertainment offers to share the joy with guests.
At the Zhuhai event, Sands Resorts Macao's booth attracted many visitors and became a popular photo backdrop. Inspired by its three flagship European-themed integrated resorts – The Venetian® Macao, The Parisian Macao and The Londoner® Macao, the booth brought together iconic elements including the Venetian mask, the Eiffel Tower, and the Big Ben. A large LED screen allowed visitors to explore a variety of new ways to dine, stay, shop and entertain at the 'Little Europe'. Spectators participated in the lucky draw at the main stage to win fabulous gifts, including luxury stays at The Venetian Macao's Royale Deluxe Suite and tickets to the outdoor Gondola Ride, and also received souvenirs by following the official account of 'Sands Resorts Macao'.
Steve Zheng, Assistant Vice President of Destination Marketing, Sands China Ltd., said: "As the pandemic situation becomes relatively stable in Macao, the number of tourists to Macao has gradually picked up recently, and data from OTAs also shows users' rising interest in travelling to Macao. Sands Resorts Macao actively participates in various tourism promotion activities, allowing participants to experience the diverse offerings of Macao's 'tourism+' cross-sector integration. We believe that the Caravan Roadshow Series will further enhance the confidence of nearby tourist source markets in Macao, boost visitations from the Greater Bay Area, and contribute to the recovery of the tourism sector."
With various favourable conditions such as the easing of the epidemic situation and the relaxation of travel restrictions between Macao and the Mainland, Sands Resorts Macao has been actively responding to the SAR government's call to promote the recovery of the tourism industry through diversified channels. Following the kick-off in Zhuhai, the 'Experience Macao, Unlimited' Caravan Roadshow Series across the Greater Bay Area will tour across eight other GBA cities to further promote Macao as an appealing destination, drive visitation and spur local tourism and economic revival.
