Sands Resorts Macao Restaurants Recognised by Trip.com Group Gourmet 2022 Global Restaurant Awards


(Macao, Nov. 4, 2022) – A total of 18 Sands® Resorts Macao restaurants have been recognised by Trip.com Group Gourmet 2022 Global Restaurant Awards, demonstrating their rapidly growing reputation for culinary excellence. Organised by Sands China Ltd. and Trip.com Group and supported by Macao Government Tourism Office, the 'Trip.com Group Gourmet 2022 Global Restaurant Awards Ceremony and the First Metaverse Gourmet Event' was held on Nov. 4, 2022 at the innovative metaverse venue of The Londoner Macao, where participants interacted via a digital avatar of themselves. Introduced in 2016, Trip.com Group Gourmet Global Restaurant Awards has become an influential and authoritative guide for food and restaurant recommendations. The 2022 edition covers 66 cities in China (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) and awards restaurants evaluated in five categories: Black Diamond, Diamond, Platinum, Gold Medal, and Silver Medal. It offers an intuitive way to help diners find local specialities for a wide range of travel and daily occasions.

La Chine, The Parisian Macao
Located on Level 6 of The Parisian Macao's Eiffel Tower, La Chine boasts panoramic views of Cotai Strip. Executive Chinese Chef Ben Lui curates a true feast for the eyes and palates by showcasing Cantonese cuisine in its most authentic expression, further elevated by artistic presentation. Signature specialities include smoked baby pigeon flavoured with lemongrass; poached Boston lobster in superior prawn broth served with crispy rice; chilled Australian lobster; braised beef rib and tendon with turnip; and deep-fried fish maw with golden superior broth.

The Huaiyang Garden, The Londoner Macao
Curated by 'The Godfather of Huaiyang Cuisine' Zhou Xiaoyan, The Huaiyang Garden highlights the sublime flavours of timeless Huaiyang cuisine. Located in a tranquil space modelled after ancient Chinese gardens, guests can enjoy premium, authentic Huaiyang delicacies offering a perfect combination of taste and presentation. Signature dishes include shredded bean curd with crab meat and egg white in superior soup; steamed Hilsa herring with 20-year-old Huadiao wine; and braised Hokkaido sea cucumber with shrimp roe.

Zi Yat Heen, Four Seasons Hotel Macao
Zi Yat Heen offers exquisite Cantonese cuisine, a dim sum menu and selection of high-end Chinese speciality teas in a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. With his wealth of experience, Chinese Kitchen Executive Chef Charles Cheung has been mesmerising guests with refined Cantonese classics that stay true to the essence of the cuisine. Signature dishes include braised Indonesian whole lobster, bean curd, minced pork and chili sauce; steamed crab claw with egg white; stir-fried Kanto sea cucumber with spring onion; and superb dim sum and barbecue.

The Venetian Macao's Jiang Nan by Jereme Leung restaurant in partnership with renowned celebrity master chef Jereme Leung features the very best of Jiangnan cuisine, showcasing the authentic flavours of Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. Through the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients and contemporary cooking techniques, Chef Jereme presents an elevated dining experience. Must-try dishes include drunken crab in Huadiao wine; 'Jiang Nan style' oven-baked fortune chicken; 'Dynasty' style boneless yellow croaker fish stuffed with hairy crab roe; and 'Mahjong full house' – a mouth-watering dessert based on Shanghai's White Rabbit creamy candy.

Vista 38, The Grand Suites at Four Seasons
Located on Level 38 of The Grand Suites at Four Seasons, Vista 38 takes Sichuan cuisine to another level and create an unforgettable dining experience. Guests can enjoy the soaring views and equally stunning dishes by Master Chef Lan Minglu, an authority on Sichuan cuisine, and experience his unique gastronomic philosophy – 'blending traditional Sichuan flavours with global influences for an international dining experience'.

The Manor, The St. Regis Macao
Contemporary European cuisine presented by renowned Chef Michele Dell'Aquila, The Manor offers an exquisite culinary experience with an emphasis on the finest, sustainably sourced ingredients from all over the world.
