Four info booths for Macao NGOs at Sands China properties

(Macao, June 1, 2017) – Sands China Ltd. showed its support again this year for the Social Welfare Bureau’s Happy Family Month, inviting four Macao nongovernmental organisations to its properties to promote their services.

Between May 16 and June 1, Sands China team members had access to information booths manned by representatives from the Gaming Employees’ Home, the Sheng Kung Hui Gambling Counseling and Family Wellness Centre, Smart Youth of the Christian New Life Fellowship, and Caritas Macau. The booths were set up at the back-of-house areas of Sands^® Macao, The Venetian^® Macao, Sands^® Cotai Central, and The Parisian Macao.

The NGO representatives offered Sands China team members information on their organisations’ local community resources and services promoting neighbourhood harmony and family happiness. Featuring games and service promotions, the info booths reached more than 8,500 team members. Booths provided information on a range of themes: family health services, life education, stress relief, emotional support, prevention of drug and alcohol abuse, and sexual assault.

Sands China’s back-of-house areas also featured notice boards during Happy Family Month 2017, which took place May 16-June 1, giving team members more information about some of the various community service organisations in Macao.
