The Residence, Exclusive Club of The Londoner Hotel, Wins 'Best Restaurant in Asia Pacific' Title at The International Hotel & Property Awards

British-style club honoured at prestigious design awards

(Macao, Aug. 15, 2022) – The Residence, an exclusive club for guests of The Londoner Hotel, has been named ‘Best Restaurant in Asia Pacific' at The International Hotel & Property Awards 2022 hosted by design et al, a leading UK interior design magazine.

Spanning over 1,100 square metres, The Residence was created by world-class Alan Chan Design Company from Hong Kong. It is divided into a series of uniquely contrasting rooms, inspired by classic London houses and the homes of famous British personalities. Guests are free to explore while taking in the numerous quintessentially British touches featured throughout the space.

The main dining area, The Green Room, is designed to reflect the musicals of famous British composers, and references the lounge where actors can relax between performances. Across the room, theatre-related paraphernalia on display echoes the West End themed background music to complete the authentic experience. A collection of 442 classic British bone chinaware items are exhibited in two glass cabinets, adding to the homely ambiance. A further dining space is The Lounge, a vibrant art gallery themed room reflecting London's contemporary art scene. The Bar is inspired by famous British wartime Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and incorporates a billiard room and outdoor terrace with a view of the iconic Big Ben. From The Residence, guests can also enjoy superb vistas of the imposing Crystal Palace lobby atrium.

The Residence serves an international buffet breakfast with signature dim sum, light refreshments including afternoon tea, all-day snacks, drinks and cocktails. Guests are free to explore while taking in the numerous British touches, enjoy afternoon tea, have a drink at the bar, appreciate the extensive collection of artwork and generally make themselves at home.
