The Jade Rabbit & The Moon
The legend of the Jade Rabbit and the Moon has a long connection to this traditional lunar festival. It tells of a rabbit that was willing to sacrifice itself to help a disguised Jade Emperor. The rabbit was rewarded with immortality and spent its eternal life living on the Moon with the Moon Goddess, preparing the elixir of life. It is said that when you gaze upon the bright Mid-Autumn full moon you can see the Jade Rabbit and be reminded to be kind to others. Using this much-loved tale as the inspiration the Jade Rabbit & The Moon mooncake boxes feature a midnight blue box with gold detailing and starry motif that when opened reveals a rabbit and full moon as the backdrop for Big Ben, one of The Londoner Macao's eye-catching landmarks.

The Jade Rabbit & The Moon mooncake boxes come in four choices and all feature the coveted modern mooncake with a twist, the lava custard mooncake.
