The Londoner Macao Hosts Thrilling
'Fairtex Fight Muay Thai Boxing' Event
The sport's finest talents put on a dazzling display of sporting prowess
with Chat Phet and Bryant Ng winning the main events
(Macao, Aug. 26, 2024) – The Londoner® Macao, in partnership with Fairtex Fight and Tero Entertainment successfully hosted the first-ever 'Fairtex Fight Muay Thai Boxing' at The Londoner Arena on Aug. 24, 2024. The exciting event featured a top line-up of competitors, who captivated the excited sports fans with their impressive skills. Supported by the Sports Bureau of Macao SAR Government, the extraordinary evening demonstrated Sands China Ltd.'s full support for the cross-sector integration of 'tourism+sports', further enriching Macao's positioning as 'City of Sports'.
The event, which also featured spectacular production, was partially designed to boost the popularity of Muay Thai in Asia, and to support this a press conference was held on Aug.23. This gave the invited media and guests of honour, including Luís Gomes, Acting President of MSAR Sports Bureau; Grant Chum, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Sands China Ltd.; Ariyawat Busarabavonwongs, Chief Executive Officer of Fairtex Fight; and Ji Hee Jeon, Managing Director of Fairtex Fight, a chance to meet the top four participants Chat Phet, Che Huashuo, North Yip and Bryant Ng.
