Sands China Fully Supported 19th Annual Scientific Meeting of Macau Urological Association

(Macao, Sept 16, 2024) – Sands China Ltd fully supported the 19th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Macau Urological Association (MUA), organized by the Macao’s first professional organization dedicated to urology, which successfully concluded on September 14, 2024, at The Parisian Macao. The prestigious event brought together over 250 renowned experts including Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and local professionals from the ‘Big Health’ industry to engage in in-depth discussions on urological topics, further solidifying Macao’s status as a growing hub for medical conferences and professional gatherings while advancing the long-term development of Macao’s Big Health industry.

Founded in 2006, MUA is a professional academic organization for urology, comprising all urologists in Macao. Its annual scientific meeting has become a key academic event for urology professionals within the Greater Bay Area. Dr. Ian Lap Hong, Chairman of the MUA Assembly and Chairman of the Scientific Committee, said, “Under the leadership of past committees, the Macau Urological Association has thrived over the past 18 years, gaining recognition from both the industry and society.
