The Londoner Arena Hosts Street Dance of China Season 6 Finale
'Battle for Unity' in full swing, boosting the development
of Macao into a City of Performing Arts
(Macao, Jan. 24, 2024) – The Londoner Arena at The Londoner® Macao hosted the highly anticipated Season 6 finale of 'Street Dance of China', a popular dance competition show, on Jan. 20. The event was livestreamed globally via Youku, which marked a spectacular start for dance fans to the year.
The 6,000-seat The Londoner Arena was packed with fans eager to witness the fierce battle for the highest honour with a line-up of top dancers. The three captains, Van Ness Wu, Jay Park and TNT- Ding, ignited the night with their electrifying performances, 'Push Play', 'Fix You' and 'Thule'. Three captains from previous seasons, Han Geng, Wang Yibo and Lay Zhang, made a surprise return to the show, cheering for the contestants and delivering show-stopping dance performances.
The thrilling showdown, themed 'Battle for Unity', saw ten finalists wowing the audience with diverse performances and battles, featuring ingenious choreography and superb skills. After three rounds, Poppin'C from Switzerland, known for his clean, strong and unique style was declared the winner with gravity-defying b-boy, Neguin coming second.
This is the second time that Sands China Ltd has hosted the season finale of the popular variety show, with the Season 5 finale being held at The Venetian® Macao's Cotai Arena in 2022. This sensational event further enriches Sands China's entertainment options, contributes to the development of Macao as a City of Performing Arts, and promotes the diversification of Macao's cultural and tourism industries.
