at The International Hotel & Property Awards 2024

The Venetian Macao’s Michelin Selected Cantonese restaurant
blends design mastery with culinary artistry

(Macao, Oct. 9, 2024) – The Venetian® Macao’s Pin Yue Xuan, a Michelin Selected restaurant, has won the ‘Restaurant – Asia Pacific 2024’ category at The International Hotel & Property Awards 2024 for its design excellence. The awards are hosted by leading interior design magazine design et al, with winners chosen by industry professionals and the magazine’s readers, clients and customers.

Inspired by the traditional Chinese courtyard dwelling, the ‘Siheyuan’, Pin Yue Xuan’s commanding façade immediately captures diners’ attention. Inside, the restaurant exudes elegance with its multi-layered structure, which combines the essence of ‘Dining by the Lake’ and ‘Dining by the Forest’. This thematic blend of nature with a fine-dining experience was achieved by the introduction of a grand skylight, casting ever-changing natural light into the main dining room. 

Other standout features include contemporary floral paintings that evoke joy and relaxation, sleek pendant lighting reminiscent of ancient temple aesthetics, bespoke lanterns suspended from the ceiling, which is almost five metres high, and semi-transparent silk screens featuring exquisite landscape paintings by Li Chang Tian.

Pin Yue Xuan is more than a restaurant it is a sanctuary where culinary artistry and architectural brilliance converge to create an unparalleled gastronomic experience. This is the second time that a restaurant within Sands Resorts Macao has won this award.
