Featuring Hiro’s Chef Hiroshi Kagata and Chef Kyo Hsu of Kitcho

（Macao, Nov. 26, 2024）– Sands Lifestyle is presenting the next enticing event in its Celebrity Chef Series at one of The Venetian® Macao’s signature restaurants, Hiro by Hiroshi Kagata. From Nov. 28-30, Hiro’s executive chef Hiroshi Kagata and Kyo Hsu owner and chef of one-Michelin-starred Kitcho in Taipei will come together to present exclusive omakase dinners. This event is part of the ‘Master Chef Collaboration: A Journey of Michelin Delights’ series; limited seats available each evening.

Chef Kagata, a master of Japan's two most revered culinary traditions – kaiseki from Kyoto and edo from Tokyo, strives to showcase the perfect harmony between seasons and ingredients. Kagata and his team carefully select the best seasonal produce imported directly from Japan and prepare each dish with impeccable technique to craft authentic Japanese flavours. 

Chef Hsu is known for his expertise in artisanal omakase and has reset diners’ impressions of upscale Japanese cuisine by creating authentic Edomae sushi as a non-Japanese chef. His restaurant Kitcho has been awarded one Michelin star for seven consecutive years for its meticulous selection of ingredients, exquisite craftsmanship, and continuous innovation while preserving traditional tastes.

The two noted chefs will take turns presenting exceptional dishes across the 10-course omakase menu. Highlights include Kagata’s Lobster, sea urchin sauce, tuna toro sushi, and Teppanyaki Wagyu beef, mashed sweet potato, and Hsu’s Charcoal-grilled tuna, snow crab leg tempura, sea urchin, nori roll, and a dessert of Honey melon, cheese, truffle honey. The gastronomic evenings are priced at MOP 2,588* per person with the option to add Clase Azul tequila pairing selections at MOP 888* per person.
