From now until Mar. 16, guests can be a part of the Coastal Fantasia: The Lobster King’s Vacation in Macao, a maritime and cultural tourism exhibition featuring a collaboration between Sands China and globally acclaimed British contemporary pop art master Philip Colbert. A giant inflatable installation Lobster Submarine can be found at the waterfront of the Macao Science Center, along with four thematic art sculptures along the shore area. The project also includes Colbert’s iconic Lobster in various locations in Macao, including the former Iec Long Firecracker Factory, the Taipa Houses, and The Venetian® Macao, where an oversized Lobster Flamingo will be floating in the outdoor lagoon, kick-starting a joyous Chinese New Year. 

Admire spring blossom-themed decorations and glowing lanterns that fill the air with the vibrant spirit of Chinese New Year across Sands China’s properties. On Jan. 30, the annual Bai Sun Ceremonies and Dragon and Lion Dances will be held at the outdoor lagoon at The Venetian Macao, and the Porte Cocheres at The Parisian Macao, The Londoner® Macao and Sands® Macao.

The Parade for Celebration of the Year of the Snake will take place on Jan. 31 and Feb. 8, where Sands China’s float will wow the audience with a design inspired by The Londoner Macao. It features a golden façade that reflects the grandeur of London’s impressive architecture and will be complemented by striking performances from the King, Sparkling Queens  and Scots Guards, showcasing a fusion of classic British culture and contemporary artistry, while bringing fortune to all in the coming year. The eagerly anticipated Chinese New Year Fireworks Displays are schedule on Jan. 31, Feb. 4 and 12. Viewers can embark on a memorable 70-minute journey with Cotai Water Jet’s ‘Macau Cruise Fireworks Route’ on these dates for a spectacular show all while appreciating Macao’s unique East-meets-West charm.
