The Londoner Macao Hosts its First Wellness Week
to Celebrate Global Wellness Day & International Yoga Day
It featured expert-led classes in unique settings, including the iconic Crystal
Palace & new opening Londoner Grand, attracting over 250 wellness enthusiasts
(Macao, June 24, 2025)–The Londoner® Macao, in conjunction with Sands Lifestyle, hosted its first-ever Wellness Week from June 15-21, 2025, in celebration of Global Wellness Day and International Yoga Day, both of which took place in June. The family-friendly, transformative activities, which were complimentary, gave well-being enthusiasts the opportunity to move their bodies and enhance the mind and body connection in remarkable and unusual locations.
Mariana de Oliveira Dias, Executive Director of Health and Wellness of Sands China Ltd. said, “We had such a positive response to the inaugural Wellness Week and are thrilled that we were able to offer this to our guests and the community. The programme was designed to foster a balanced lifestyle, and inspire a culture of health and wellness that promotes mental, physical and emotional benefits for all. We are confident it had a positive impact on participants, and we look forward to continuing to inspire and host empowering lifestyle events.”
Health and Wellness is a core pillar for Sands Lifestyle and this aligned initiative is just one of many introduced, or planned, that supports the guest experience, the Macao community, and the Macao SAR Government's “tourism+ wellness” diversification strategy.
A Week of Wellness
In addition to a week of yoga classes for hotel guests and health club members, there were two fantastic offerings that took place on June 21 that were also open to the community.
Marking global wellness was a full day of beneficial activities, ranging from energising chair massages to on-trend Aqua Boga Fit classes, and Kid’s Yoga to guided meditation. All offerings were held at the recreational facilities of the recently opened Londoner Grand, an exclusive resort-within-a-resort where refinement, personal touches and exceptional experiences come together.
Complementing this, and shining the spotlight on yoga, was the 60-minute Energise & Align Flow class. Jointly organised with leading yoga studio, Yoga Light, the class was held in the stunning Crystal Palace at The Londoner Macao. Led by four expert teachers the over 130 attendees were impressed by both the dramatic setting and the quality of the yoga.
The Londoner Macao also offers ongoing wellness-focused options at its spas. Popular choices at Bodhi Spa include the Chakra Sound Healing Massage and the Lapidem Rituals that rebalance and rejuvenate. While at the Spa at Londoner Grand the signature treatments using Elemental Herbology products bring holistic balance by employing the five elements theory.
