Sands China Welcomes Year of the Horse with Lion and Dragon Dances

(Macao, Feb 18, 2026) – Sands China executives helped welcome the Year of the Horse with traditional Chinese New Year ceremonies at the company’s five properties Wednesday, the second day of the Lunar New Year.

The company held worship rituals, eye-dotting ceremonies and traditional lion and dragon dance performances featuring six lions and one dragon at Sands® Macao, The Plaza® Macao, The Venetian® Macao, The Londoner® Macao, and The Parisian® Macao to attract good luck and blessings to the properties and to Macao. With the presence of the God of Fortune, the ceremonies attracted a large group of local residents and tourists, creating a scene filled with joy and happiness.

Dr. Wilfred Wong, executive vice chairman of Sands China Ltd., said: “Sands China wishes Macao residents and tourists a prosperous Year of the Horse, full of success and good fortune! May the new year bring Macao strength, prosperity, and continued achievements!”

Sands China executives will celebrate the New Year with its team members next week at special back-of-house events, featuring games, lucky draws, roast pig-carving ceremonies, and a parade by team members.
