(Macao, Feb. 23, 2017) – K-Pop superstar Kim Jae Joong, one of the South Korea’s top selling solo artists, will bring 2017 Kim Jae Joong Asia Tour in Macao to entertain his legions of local fans at the Cotai Arena at The Venetian® Macao on March 25, 2017. Tickets go on sale Feb. 24 at all Cotai Ticketing box offices.
Having just completed almost two-years of military service in Korea, Kim has named the tour, which will see him visit eight cities throughout Asia, as “The Rebirth of J”, and has said he can’t wait to reward those faithful fans who stood by him.
Kim made his debut in 2003 as a member of highly successful boyband TVXQ!, before going solo and releasing his first independent mini album in 2013. This was followed by studio album “WWW” and his current record “No.X” in 2016. To date, he has sold over half a million albums as a solo artist.
Audiences at Cotai Arena can expect a ‘best of’ performance, alongside a live rendition of “No.X”, which is in the running for album of the year at the 2017 Golden Disc Awards.
An accomplished songwriter and composer, Kim has also written for other performers, including his own group members, alongside various soundtracks, while as an actor he has appeared in dramas such as “Triangle” in 2014 (for which he won a best actor award), “Spy” in 2015, and movies like “Heaven’s Postman” in 2009 and “Code Name Jackal” in 2012.
