Sands China Ltd. Macau Open Badminton 2026
Part of The HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300
The Badminton Federation of Macau and Sands China Ltd. will jointly organize the "Sands China Ltd. Macau Open Badminton 2026, Part of The HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300", which will commence on 16th to 21st June 2026 at the Macao East Asian Games Dome, Macao.
Since 2006, the Badminton Federation of Macau has been organizing this annual focusing international sport branding in Macao every year. This year the tournament, as one of the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300 tournaments with world ranking points, will be continually awarded and jointly organized with “Sands China Ltd.”, jointly promoting the deep integration of sports, culture, and tourism, and continuously enhancing the brand appeal and international influence of Macao as a "City of Sport". The total prize money for this edition also stands at US$370,000 (approx. MOP$3 million), which is expected to trigger another badminton craze.
The tournament will be held in 5 events: Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles and Mixed doubles. This year the tournament attracted players from 29 countries / regions, with a total of 390 entries, demonstrating its international appeal.
