Ascendance - Kit Lei Ka Ieng's New Media Art World
"Ascendance - Kit Lei Ka Ieng's New Media Art World," the second installment of the Macau Art For All Society's annual project, "Artificial Landscape - New Media Art Exhibition" series, opened on October 18th at the Shoppes at Parisian, Macau. Under the evocative title "Ascendance," the exhibition invites viewers into Lei's artistic world, brimming with vitality and technological innovation.
"Ascendance" is not simply a showcase of an individual artist's creative journey; it is a profound dialogue on technology, culture, and belief. It invites us to reconsider the relationship between humanity and technology, tradition and modernity, and the role and value of art in contemporary society within a world interwoven with the virtual and the real.

About Artists
Lei Ka Ieng
Lei Ka Ieng born in Macau in 1987, graduated from Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts, Tainan National University of The Arts, Taiwan in 2016. Lee has served as a senior instructor of the Center for Arts and Design at the University of Macau and is currently a lecturer in the Faculty of Arts and Design at Macao Polytechnic University. Her personal art practice focuses specifically on video art, sound installation and new media art. She was invited to participate in many art exhibitions such as “Lingnan Arts Biennale 2023 :Digital Art Exhibition - Digital Matter ” , “European 3-Cities Tour Exhibition”, “2020 Taiwan Biennial – Subzoology collateral exhibition” and “2020 ARTFEM Women Artists International Biennial of Macau”. She was also invited as one of the keynote speakers in “Perceptual Intellectual：2020 Virtual Cloud Forum of Hong Kong-Macao Visual Art Biennale ''.
