Datascape — Post Photographic Art in Digital Era
"Datascape - Post Photographic Art in Digital Era" is the first contemporary art exhibition at Shoppes at Parisian by non-profit contemporary art association, Art For All Society (AFA). It is presenting a series of recent works by young artist, WangTou Kun, showcasing his exploration of the ever-evolving realm of image-making in the digitally saturated era. As the audience navigates the exhibition they are prompted to engage in introspection about data overload, and explore how to reshape the relationship between humanity and nature, humanity and the world, and humanity and data in the current era.
This exhibition takes place at Sands Resorts Macao's iconic landmark, The Parisian Macao, which welcomes an average of 40,000 visitors daily. Spanning six storefronts at Shoppes at Parisian, the exhibition unfolds as distinct chapters within the overarching narrative of "Datascape: The Apotheosis of Tourism I", "The Apotheosis of Tourism II", "Blue Wave", "Allegory of the Aperture", "Barakah", and "Datascape". During the exhibition, artist WangTou Kun will be conducting live image creation in the "Datascape" exhibition room, allowing visitors to directly interact with the artist.
