(Macao, Mar. 14, 2024) –  The Huaiyang Garden at The Londoner® Macao has been recognised for culinary mastery as the only restaurant in Macao to be newly awarded two Michelin stars. With a second signature Chinese restaurant, Zi Yat Heen at Four Seasons Hotel Macao, retaining its one-star rating, these illustrious awards are the stellar results for the restaurants at Sands Resorts Macao where guests can enjoy exclusive culinary events and once-in-a-lifetime experiences that Sands Lifestyle offers. The inclusion in the Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2024 confirms that both of these notable restaurants are among the best in Macao, a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

Three other Sands' restaurants have also received recognition by being included in the Michelin Selected category. Refined Thai restaurant The Mews, contemporary Portuguese restaurant Chiado, and Cantonese restaurant Pin Yue Xuan are all noted for serving exemplary dishes.

The Huaiyang Garden, The Londoner Macao Under the guidance of the legendary “Godfather” of Huaiyang cuisine, Celebrity Master Chef, Xiaoyan Zhou, The Huaiyang Garden was awarded its first Michelin star in 2023 soon after opening, and only one year later has been awarded two stars. Considered one of the Four Great Traditions of Chinese cuisine, Huaiyang cuisine is known for its sublime flavours, to which Zhou brings innovation and contemporary plating. Signature dishes at this fine-dining restaurant include the sensational Steamed live crab and minced pork with 20-year-old Huadiao wine, the tender Braised Hokkaido sea cucumber with shrimp roe, and the refined Shredded bean curd with crab meat and egg white in superior broth.
