Three Signature Restaurants 
on BAZAAR Taste Elite 10 Macao 2025 List

(Macao, Jan. 22, 2025) –  Three of Sands China Ltd.’s signature restaurants have been ranked among the best in Macao with inclusion on the prestigious BAZAAR Taste Elite 2025  | Hong Kong and Macao list from Harper’s BAZAAR. Included among the BAZAAR Taste Elite 10 | Macao winners are The Huaiyang Garden, Chiado and The Mews, all located at The Londoner® Macao. Having three restaurants on a noted top-10-restaurants-in-Macao list testifies to Sands China’s commitment to exemplary cuisine standards and the continued elevation of Macao’s gastronomic landscape. Winners were announced on Jan. 20, 2025 at an awards ceremony held at Greater China’s largest and Macao’s first, AP House located at Shoppes at Four Seasons.

The Winners
Set in a tranquil space inspired by classic Chinese gardens, the two-Michelin-starred The Huaiyang Garden is helmed by the “Godfather” of Huaiyang cuisine, celebrity master chef Zhou Xiaoyan. Chef Zhou brings innovation and exquisite plating to this time-honoured cuisine, which is recognised as one of the four great Chinese culinary traditions. Signature dishes include Steamed live crab and minced pork with 20-year-old Huadiao wine, Braised Hokkaido sea cucumber with shrimp roe, and Shredded bean curd with crab meat and egg white in superior soup.

Celebrity chef Henrique Sá Pessoa serves the essence of Portugal at Michelin Selected Chiado, where a cosy, modern ambience sets the stage for contemporary Portuguese food. Diners can enjoy creative interpretations of defining classics including Suckling pig confit with turnip top purée, pickled onion and pepper jus; ‘Cobblestreet’ salted cod with egg yolk and onion purée; and Monkfish and lobster rice with tomato and coriander.

Michelin Selected The Mews takes guests on a fine-dining journey into the authentic flavours of Thailand. The restaurant’s impressive menus have been meticulously crafted by chef Nongnuch ‘Nuch’ Sae-eiw, whose expertise spans over 20 years in award-winning and Michelin-rated restaurants. Must-try dishes include Grilled Snake River Farm Wagyu beef with red curry and chakram leaves, and Crispy sago langoustine and herb salad with crispy fish cracker and ikura.

The BAZAAR Taste Elite list is a curated selection of 30 top restaurants in Hong Kong and 10 finest restauratns in Macao. Restaurants are evaluated based on quality of ingredients, mastery of cooking techniques, uniqueness, consistency and value for money.
