Lion and Dragon Dances Usher in Year of the Snake at Sands China Properties
(Macao, Jan. 30, 2025) – Sands China Ltd. held five traditional Chinese New Year ceremonies at its properties Thursday to welcome the Year of the Snake, attended by company executives.
On the second day of the Lunar New Year, the company held worship rituals, eye-dotting ceremonies, and traditional lion and dragon dance performances comprising six lions and one dragon at Sands® Macao, The Plaza® Macao, The Venetian® Macao, The Londoner® Macao, and The Parisian® Macao to attract good luck and blessings to the properties and to Macao. With the presence of the God of Fortune, the ceremonies were packed with a large group of local residents and tourists, creating a scene filled with joy and happiness.
