Macao,Dec.24, 2025)–
Sands Lifestyle is proud to announce the final event of its highly successful 2025 ‘Celebrity Chef Series’, uniting Chef Justin Yang of one-Michelin starred restaurant Hokkien Cuisine (Chengdu) and Executive Chinese Chef Ben Lui of The Parisian Macao’s La Chine for an extraordinary culinary exploration. The exclusive collaboration will be available for a limited time from Dec. 26 to 28 at La Chine.

Originally from Quanzhou, Chef Yang is the recipient of the Michelin Young Chef Award in 2024 and was once the youngest executive Chinese chef of the Waldorf Astoria hotels worldwide. His upscale restaurant, Hokkien Cuisine, received one Michelin star and Black Pearl One-Diamond rating for two consecutive years in 2024 and 2025. Honouring the Hokkien culinary traditions while incorporating modern techniques, the restaurant offers guests must-try delicacies such as Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, Ginger duck, Steamed crab with lotus leaf and glutinous rice, and Sea clam in jellied chicken broth. Chef Yang has also gained a star status over the years, recently standing out in the hit show ‘The Divine Dish’ by winning the runner-up title.

A native of Hong Kong, Chef Ben Lui brings over 30 years of culinary experience to La Chine. With his mastery of traditional techniques and deep insight into Cantonese cuisine, he selects only the finest ingredients to compose a symphony of exquisite flavours, delighting diners with signature dishes including Poached Boston lobster in superior prawn broth served with crispy rice, Smoked baby pigeon in lemongrass flavour, and La Chine three treasures. La Chine has been honoured by the influential Meituan Black Pearl Restaurant Guide for eight consecutive years and currently holds a One-Diamond rating.

The bespoke four-hands event will be a celebration of Southern Chinese culinary heritage, designed to take diners on a memorable journey of authentic flavours where the delicate finesse of Cantonese cooking meets the rich, hearty essence of Hokkien fare. Menu highlights are set to include Boston lobster in aged Fujian rice wine sauce, Suckling pig with Yunnan ham and caviar and Quanzhou style thread noodle soup with seafood. In addition, the feast will be paired with a curated selection of four fine spirits from Hennessy to complement the complex aromatic profiles of both cuisines.
