Documental Exhibition of Annual of Contemporary Art of China 2005-2022
This exhibition aims to provide an overview and showcase of the overall landscape of Chinese contemporary art in 2022. It combines curatorial insights derived from reviews of thousands of art exhibitions held nationwide over the past year, along with extensive surveys on established artists and thorough research on a vast collection of art publications. This meticulous curation process has culminated in the selection of signature artworks by 100 individual and group artists, with the primary objective of presenting the latest developments in Chinese contemporary art through special-topic reviews. Some of these artists' original works will be on display in the Macao exhibition area – a manifestation of the extensive surveys and research as documented in the book, The Annals of Contemporary Art of China 2022.
