Celebrate Le French GourMay at The Parisian Macao’s Brasserie, Le Buffet and La Chine Restaurants this May

Special menus and wines offer an authenticflavour of the Loire Valley, ‘the garden of France’

7, 2019) – The Parisian Macao will celebrate the taste of France duringLe French GourMay, an annual French food and wine festival taking place in Hong Kong and Macao throughout May, organised by Business France. The spotlight this year is on Loire Valley cuisine and wine. To celebrate the event, The Parisian Macao’s signature restaurants, Brasserie, Le Buffet and La Chine will present a superb array of food and wine from May 1-31, 2019.


Brasserie is offering a four-course Loire Valley set menu, accompanied by wines from the region and Le Buffet will offer “La Touraine”, featuring a selection of French themed dishes, while La Chine will pair exquisite freshly shucked Geay oysters from Marennes-Oléron with Domaine Vacheron Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2017.

Brasserie

Brasserie will present a Loire Valley four-course set menu showcasing Executive French Chef Daniel Brolese’s authentic dishes from the region. The menu is available for both lunch and dinner, with highlights including warm white asparagus and Vendée cured ham, white wine sabayon, sautéed black mussels in white wine, butter and parsley, slow-braised challans duck leg in Muscadet white wine with green peas, and a selection of cheeses from the Loire Valley.


Guests can also pair dishes with a selection of wines from the Loire Valley, available both by the bottle and glass.


Four-course set lunch / dinner menu

Lunch:             11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Dinner:             6-11 p.m.

Price:              MOP 530* per person (for May 1-5)

            MOP 498* per person (for May 6-31)


Afternoon tea set

Brasserie’s talented pastry chefs have crafted a wonderful afternoon tea with mini Parisian ham baguette with butter and cornichon, slow-cooked Challans duck breast with pepper sauce and Loire melon with cured soft ham on the savoury side, and sweet treats including apple tatin, raspberry cottage cheese macaron and almond and pear tart. Add a glass of refreshing French cider for an additional MOP 40, or MOP 75 for a glass of French sparkling Saumur Brut Bouvet Ladubay.

Price:               MOP 368* (for May 1-5, includes tea set for two persons, cocktail or mocktail and cup of tea or coffee per person)

A Chinese restaurant incorporating intriguing French elements, La Chine is offering diners exquisite freshly shucked Geay oysters from Marennes-Oléron, paired with Domaine Vacheron Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2017.
