Sands China Offering Central Provident Fund System to Local Team Members

Option to enrol in retirement savings scheme begins July 1

(Macao, May 27, 2019) – Sands China Ltd. has announced that its local team members can enrol in the government-promoted Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund (CPF) System beginning July 1, 2019.

Local team members who join the company from July 1 onward will have the option to sign up
for the retirement savings scheme, while current local team members can choose to transfer to the new CPF system or remain in the company’s current provident fund scheme.

Recognising that its team members are the company’s greatest asset, Sands China continues to place great importance on their well-being. Sands China was the first integrated resort operator in Macao to offer a provident fund scheme for its team members, and the company’s introduction of the non-mandatory CPF option is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the company’s comprehensive benefits scheme by enhancing team members’ retirement protection.
