Generous community-minded event demonstrates commitment for vital cause
(Macao, Oct. 11, 2019) – Conrad® Macao, Cotai Central has raised over MOP 108,000 for breast cancer awareness as part of its 2019 Pink Inspired October campaign after hosting a charity lunch on Thursday Oct. 10.
The success of the event was made possible due to the support of major retail sponsors at Sands Shoppes Macao including T Galleria by DFS, MIDO, Roger Vivier, Ingrid Millet, Bio Signature Health Beautifying Ltd, DOXA, Lukfook Jewellery, Maud Frizon Paris and La Perla. Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Champagne was donated by Moët Hennessy Diageo (MHD) for the event and red and white wine by VINOMAC Ltd.

Also speaking at the lunch was Sally Lo from Hong Kong Cancer Fund (HKCF), who emphasized how early detection of breast cancer makes a significant difference in terms of life expectancy.
This year’s lunch was attended by 330 guests, all dressed in various shades of pink, who dined on a special pink themed, three-course lunch menu created by the talented chefs at Conrad Macao, which included a glass of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Rosé Champagne and gift bag.
Guests at the event had the opportunity to purchase lucky draw tickets to win an amazing array of prizes valued at more than MOP 190,000, including luxury hotel getaways at Conrad hotels around the world such as Conrad Beijing, Conrad Centennial Singapore, Conrad Guangzhou, Conrad Hong Kong, Conrad Koh Samui, Conrad Macao, Conrad Manila, Conrad Seoul, Conrad Tokyo, Waldorf Astoria Beijing and Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund.
Every guest also received a gift bag including special vouchers from luxury retailers at Sands Shoppes including LING New York Spa, John Masters Organics, Shanghai Tang, H & B Pharmacy, Lukfook Jewellery, Lux & Lax, MIDO, Ingrid Millet, Chunfengmacau Bubble Tea Shop, iFaces Beauty, Technogym Asia, Paris Store Macau, Cath Kidston, Candyology Macau, Iridium Spa and dining vouchers for The St. Regis, Cotai Strip and Sheraton Grand Macao, all part of Sands Resorts Macao.
This is the eighth year Conrad Macao, now as a HKCF Diamond Sponsor, has pledged to donate a portion of its Pink Inspired proceeds to benefit HKCF’s breast cancer awareness campaign. In addition to the charity lunch, the Pink Inspired October campaign has seen themed menus at selected restaurants, spa treatments, games and much more.
