Classic teahouse offers wide variety of delicious local favourites

(Macao, Oct. 6 2020) – The Venetian^® Macao has opened 828 Cafe, a classic Hong Kong and Macao style teahouse, or cha chaan teng, serving a wide range of mouthwatering traditional dishes with a tasty twist.

A perfect spot for guests to enjoy unique local delicacies which intriguingly blend European and Chinese diner cuisine, 828 Cafe offers a variety of savoury and sweet specialities. Traditional bakery items such as must-try Macanese pork chop buns, roasted duck sandwiches and pineapple buns are complemented by classic Portuguese caldo verde soup and a selection of pasta including creamy laksa seafood spaghetti.

Diners will also discover tempting desserts including cakes and signature Gondola tiramisu which celebrates The Venetian Macao's colourful canal rides, alongside Chinese sweet soups, bubble milk tea, red bean ice with ice cream and other refreshing beverages.
