The Venetian Macao
Portofino: The award-winning trattoria has a selection of authentic Mother’s Day dishes to pamper mama. Starters include foie gras in mushroom broth; spaghetti offers Japanese rockfish with black olives and salsa ristretta; while rice fans will savour risotto with tomato sauce, burrata and capers. Main courses are Japanese flounder with saffron sauce and zucchini and French chicken breast “Marengo style”, while desserts include “baba” cakes with Italian sweet wine and roasted pineapple .

Bambu: In addition to its extensive buffet items featuring all you can eat seafood, sushi and sashimi, Asian favourites and local specialities, special items added for the Mother’s Day lunch and dinner menus include scallop and mussel salad with avocado and lemongrass dressing, lobster bisque with cognac, Hamachi sashimi, Australian skirt steak with Asian spices on the live cooking station, prawns with salted egg yolk and Mandarin fish with pickled vegetable in sour and spicy broth. Lotus Palace: The Parisian Macao’s signature Chinese restaurant is offering a tempting Mother's Day set menu that includes an appetiser combination platter of sliced abalone with ice plant salad, cuttlefish and suckling pig with foie gras and caviar, double-boiled chicken, sea whelk soup with fish maw, fried Canadian lobster, noodles with fried Wagyu beef and dessert of chilled avocado soup and bird’s nest.

Dynasty 8 at Conrad Macao: The award-winning signature Chinese restaurant is offering a Mother’s Day set menu she will simply adore, featuring appetisers of sea whelk, crispy pork belly, cherry tomatoes with creamy walnut filling and double-boiled superior soup with fish maw and dendrobe. Main courses offer steamed garoupa fillet with mushroom, braised beef short rib stuffed in tomato with black truffle, braised spinach bean curd with crabmeat, pasta with preserved Chinese sausage and prawns and rose soup with seaweed pearls for a sweet finish.

Grand Orbit at Conrad Macao: The perennially popular restaurant is enhancing its generous buffet with special dishes to make mum happy. The sashimi selection adds tuna, sweet shrimp and Japanese scallop while seafood on ice gains brown and flower crab. A lobster station offers the delicacy grilled with herb butter, baked with sea urchin-infused cheese sauce, poached Sichuan style and with a tom yum glaze. Other special dishes add Wagyu beef, sucking pig and fried rice with Boston lobster, while there are stations for Beijing duck, roasted prime beef rib, pizza and freshly-cooked selection of pasta and sauces, while on the antipasto counter hungry mums will find shrimp skewers with mango sasa cups.
